The Tweed Emphasize throw is an exquisite example of mid-century style. A fabric designed by Gerd Hay-Edie and made famous by Irish fashion designer Sybil Connolly as part of her 1956 Spring collection. Its blanket is a beautiful highly textured piece using 'wild' spun yarn from Donegal. Each completely unique, durable and rich in heritage. Size 150 x 200 cm.

Mourne Textiles offers a range of blankets and cushions inspired by founder Gerd Hay-Edie’s original designs from the 1950s. The cloth continues to be woven at the family workshop in the Mourne Mountains, Northern Ireland.
