A beautiful simple iron Noah bell. These bells are traditionally used by shepherds to tend their flock and also to scare away evil spirits. Each bell is handmade and individually tuned, so each one has a different melodic tone. The secret formula of melting a combination of iron and copper and wooden clappers is passed down from generation to generation, by a small community of 20 families in a single village in Kutch District, India.
This is the small bell with a size Ø 2,5 cm x H 4 cm.
The bell is made of iron, copper and wood.
Yumiko Sekine started her business in 1993 importing used books and houseware from Europe and America to Japan. During her search for more houseware she could not find affordable every day linens that she had used during her childhood. Yumiko produces her own linen product designs in Lithuania, a country that grows flax and has been producing linen products to other European countries since the Middle Ages.
Her first collection started with only seven items. Now after ten years, Fog Linen Work produces a large line of linen products for the home and linen clothing, defining the natural life style trend today.
