An iconic padded sofa with the most amazing round shapes. in 1970. comes with 2 large cushions (width per cushion 96 cm).

The sofa comes in a beautiful soft sand colored linen look T2 fabric.
THE MATERIAL
Base in multi plywood with fibre cover. Backrests and armrests: main structure in metal. Each element (back, seat, arm) is padded and covered singularly.
Padding in stress-resistant differentiated density polyurethane foam and fibre cover. Fully removable cover, except for leather version. Metal feet.
THE MAKER
In 1947 Carlo Barassi, engineer of Pirelli, together with Renato Teani, in the financial dpt. of Pirelli, Pio Reggiani and Aldo Bai, founded the company Ar-flex (flexible furniture), that became later arflex.
They worked together with a young architect Marzo Zanuso and began to experiment the use of foam rubber and elastic tapes for the furniture market. Today Arflex has its productive plant of 35.000 sqm is situated in Giussano Italy.
