THE PRODUCT
The essence of traditional Japanese straw tatamis are the inspiration for these dhurries made with 50% New Zealand wool and 50% jute. Hand-loomed in India, the structure and shine of the jute blended with the softness of the wool create a mesmerising combination.
Available in two standard sizes: 170 x 240 cm and 200 x 300 cm.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR RUG
As all our rugs are handcrafted, they may differ slightly in size to the original model.
We also dye our rugs by hand, so colour tones may vary a little.
Prolonged exposure to sunlight may alter rug colour tone and may even cause discolouring.
Shading or pooling effects may appear on cut-pile rugs. Depending on pile direction and the way the light strikes it, colour depth and luminosity may appear to vary.
Some of our rugs are woven from natural yarns made up of several different strands of fibre twisted together. In cut-pile rugs, these yarns may shed loose fibres when in use. We recommend you vacuum your rug regularly to remove the fluff formed by these fibres. After vacuuming, loose fibres may appear in cut-pile rugs. We recommend you trim these with a pair of scissors.
